2026 Ian Clemens Foundation Scholarship <\/span><\/h2>\n

Award Eligibility<\/strong>
\n\u2022 One $1000.00 Scholarship
\n\u2022 Recipient is to be a graduating senior from Churchill, Franklin or Stevenson High School of Livonia Public Schools<\/p>\n

Requirement Checklist:<\/strong>
\nAcceptance at an accredited four-year public Michigan university with an accredited Engineering Program<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Letter of Acceptance must be included with application
\n\u2022 Proof of enrollment required prior to disbursement of funds.
\n\u2022 Your commitment to a specific university is not required in order to apply.<\/p>\n

Counselor to verify ACT or SAT Test Score<\/strong>
\n\u2022 ACT test score to show a minimum composite of 32
\n\u2022 SAT test score to show a minimum composite of 1400
\n\u2022 Copy of test score is required
\n\u2022 Include counselor\u2019s verification letter<\/p>\n

Counselor to verify academic transcript<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Minimum of 3.9 or higher (weighted or non-weighted)
\n\u2022 Copy of academic transcript
\n\u2022 Include counselor\u2019s verification letter<\/p>\n

Two letters or recommendation required<\/strong>
\n\u2022 One must be from one of your current classroom teachers
\n\u2022 One must be from an individual (non-relative\/ non LPS employee) outside of school.
\n\u2022 Each should be limited to one (1) page in length<\/p>\n

Consideration will be given for involvement in the following areas (be specific)<\/strong>
\nUse format provided on the application page. Include resume or add additional<\/strong> pages if necessary.<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Extra curricular activities
\n\u2022 Community Service
\n\u2022 Employment
\n\u2022 Honors \/ Awards
\n\u2022 Leadership<\/p>\n

Write an essay that responds to one of the following question:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 How do I plan to make a positive difference in the world through my personal and professional life as an engineer?
\n\u2022 Describe a time where you had to overcome adversity and how did you handle that.
\n\u2022 Use a separate sheet of paper
\n\u2022 Minimum of 500 words in length
\n\u2022 Typed, doubled-spaced, letter sized (8.5 x 11 inch).<\/span><\/p>\n
